Description/Reflection
A typical day of navigating the New York City subway system . As the fifth busiest subway system in the world , navigating the New York City subway system is considered a major part of adapting to life in the city . With over 468 stations , hours are spent staring at maps , asking for directions , and running in between trains . Over a million of exhausted bodies swipe their MTA cards daily and make their way in and out of turnstiles in the early morning and late into the night . Here, a family navigates their journey at the Queensboro Plaza stop in Long Island City . While waiting for the train , they map out their different stops and transfers along the way .
